Go from signup to your first takeoff: create a workspace, add pricing basics, and learn the core QuoCAD workflow.

QuoCAD helps parking lot striping contractors turn photos, plans, addresses, and satellite views into takeoffs, layouts, internal reports, and customer-ready quotes. The fastest way to learn it is to create a workspace, add your pricing basics, create a job, calibrate scale, draw the work, and review the numbers.

Create your account

  1. Click Get started or Start now on quocad.com.
  2. Enter your name, email address, and a password.
  3. Confirm your email if you are prompted to.
  4. Continue to onboarding.

Set up your workspace

Your workspace stores your company defaults, jobs, pricing settings, quotes, reports, materials, and team. During setup you choose your country and can add a region/state/province and city.

Country selection helps QuoCAD apply the right currency, units, and locale defaults. Region and city help organize local defaults, but confirming local requirements is always your responsibility.

Add your pricing basics

Onboarding can collect a few numbers so estimates are useful right away:

  • Main paint name
  • Price per pail and pail size (gallons)
  • Coverage (linear feet per gallon)
  • Labor rate
  • Target margin

Choose a plan

Pick the plan that fits your crew. You can change plans later from Settings → Billing. After choosing a plan you continue to the Dashboard and Jobs.

The takeoff editor is graphics-heavy and works best on a larger screen. For the smoothest drawing and quoting experience, use the latest Chrome or Edge on a desktop or laptop. Tablets can be useful for review, but test full drawing and quoting on your own device before relying on it in the field.

Your first job, end to end

  • Create a job and add the property address.
  • Link or add the customer.
  • Add a plan, site photo, or satellite/map image.
  • Calibrate scale before drawing.
  • Draw the striping work.
  • Review quantities and pricing assumptions.
  • Export or prepare the quote.
