Start the bid before you drive to the lot

Draw the lot on satellite imagery and have a priced quote ready the same day — with far less to measure when you get there.

Turn the lots you get asked to bid into quotes with a takeoff that counts the stalls, linear feet  and gallon of paint while you draw.

Purpose-built for parking lot takeoffs

No CAD training, no spreadsheet. Draw the work on the satellite image and the stall counts, the paint, the price and the proposal all follow.

Where the number comes from

Every part of the quote, priced from what you drew.

QuoCAD turns the drawing into the estimate — stall counts, linear feet, paint by colour, labour and travel — so the number you send is the number you measured.

Counted as you place it, not from memory

Counting stalls off a printout is how a bid goes out light. Here each stall row, arrow, stop bar and curb is placed once, then counted and priced from that.

Proposal to invoice

Turn the accepted quote into an invoice in one step — same numbers, your branding, no retyping between documents.

Start a takeoff

Quotes, invoices and reports all read from the same takeoff.

The cost behind the price

Labour, equipment, travel and materials against the client price — so the margin is settled before the number goes out the door.

The QuoCAD breakdown: scope detail showing 3,116 linear feet and 153 stalls, beside an internal cost split of labour, equipment, travel, materials, contingency and overhead against the client price.

Know the moment a quote is accepted

Every quote keeps its own history — sent, opened by the customer, accepted or declined — and an accepted quote is one step from an invoice.

From the satellite photo to the paid invoice

The QuoCAD takeoff workbench: two straight yellow double rows aligned with the existing parking layout, the tool palette on the left, and a live total of 2,235.7 lineal feet.

Pull the property up on satellite imagery and draw the rows straight onto it. Every stall, ADA space, arrow and curb is counted the moment you place it — so most of the measuring is done before you leave the shop.

Suggestions that read the takeoff

QuoCAD works from what you drew — comparing accessible stalls against your configured planning guidance, turning measured feet into estimated gallons by colour, and pricing the drive out to the lot, so less rides on memory.

Common questions

The questions estimators actually ask

Do I need CAD experience to use QuoCAD?

No. You work on a satellite photo of the lot and click out the work: a stall row, an ADA stall, an arrow, a stop bar, a line. Objects have plain-English properties — stall count, width, depth, angle, line weight, colour — so if you can describe the job to a crew, you can draw it.

How accurate is measuring from satellite imagery?

Accuracy comes from the scale. You set it once against a known dimension on site — a standard stall, a building face, a curb run — and QuoCAD locks that scale to the job and derives every measurement from it. QuoCAD rejects a scale that is physically impossible, but it cannot tell that a plausible scale is the wrong one for your lot, so check that one length on site before you bid.

What can I measure and mark up?

Stall rows, double rows and arrays, accessible (ADA) stalls, directional arrows, stop bars, crosswalks, lines, curbs, hatch zones, text and custom measurements. Every object you place is counted in the takeoff summary.

Does it tell me how much paint I need?

Yes. QuoCAD turns your markup into linear feet and stall counts, then into paint volume by colour — white stalls, yellow curbs and blue accessible markings totalled separately — so you have an estimated load before you leave the shop rather than a guess.

Can I send quotes and invoices from QuoCAD?

Yes. The takeoff feeds a branded proposal you can email or download as a PDF, the customer accepts it online, and the accepted quote becomes the invoice. Card payment is available on Pro and Team once you connect Stripe; on Starter you send the invoice and collect however you do today. The numbers the customer sees are the numbers you measured, with no retyping in between.

Whose pricing does it use — yours or mine?

Yours. You set your labour rates, material costs, equipment, overhead and margin, and QuoCAD applies them to the measured work. It does not invent a market price for you.

Does it work on a tablet in the truck?

Yes, for the parts you'd actually do in the truck. QuoCAD runs in the browser, so you can open a job, review a takeoff and send a quote from a tablet or laptop. Drawing a full takeoff is most comfortable on a bigger screen with a mouse or trackpad.

Is my job data private?

Yes. Every job, quote, invoice and uploaded file belongs to your workspace, and that isolation is enforced in the database itself rather than only in the app, so another QuoCAD customer's workspace cannot read yours.

Am I locked into a contract?

No long-term commitment. Monthly plans renew month to month and annual plans run for the prepaid annual term; you can cancel future renewal from Billing at any time. There is no setup fee, and billing runs on Stripe. Using QuoCAD is still subject to the Terms of Service.
